Any new aircraft type before importing into the country requires acceptance and type certification from DGCA India. Any design change also requires a prior approval from DGCA.
ATTA has got the type certification done for the Aero Gipps aircraft. The Mahindra Airvan 8 is a single-engined utility aircraft manufactured by GippsAero of Victoria, Australia. It can seat up to eight people, including the pilot.
